Bill Meyer is a multi-disciplinary artist. Across his forty year career, he has worked with photography, sound and performance art, installation, murals, poetry and printmaking. This last medium is perhaps his most adept, having served as president of the Print Council of Australia in the 1980s.
Self-described as a wanderer, Meyer is in a constant state of reinvention, recording the changes he undergoes through art. With its title derived from Genesis, this work evokes themes of creation and faith. Abstract and photographic elements combine to spur life, movement and memory. For collectors of late-modern art and prints, this cool and curious work will intrigue.
